Construction Permits Reforms
Government of the Punjab is committed to introducing reforms which will improve the business environment of the province. Following are the reforms which have been introduced:
The building permit issuance system has been automated by LDA in collaboration with PITB, the software includes electronic submission of applications, issuance of No Objection Certificate (NOC) from relevant departments and issuance of completion certificate.
One window cell operationalized for building permit applications.
Automated building permit issuance system
LDA has set up Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) counter at their one window facility for timely verification and issuance of Fard.
Traffic Engineering and Planning Agency (TEPA), Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and Bank of Punjab counters have been established at LDA.
Obtain a No Objection Certificate on the Environmental Impact Assessment from the Environmental Protection Agency within 15 days
Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) counter was set up at LDA
Submission of a PT-1 form is no longer a requirement for obtaining a water connection.
Completion certificate fee for commercial building has been fixed at Rs. 10,000
